Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What products do you offer?

We carry a great variety of products including, Computers, Televisions, Home Theater Systems, Stereos, Cameras,
Camcorders, Videogame consoles, Appliances, and a full line of quality ASHLEY furniture. We also sell Automobiles via financing at Flexi Compras Autos.

What brands do you carry?

We carry some of the best brands including SONY, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Mitsubishi, DELL, HP, Compaq, Canon, Whirlpool, and ASHLEY furniture among others.

What do I need in order to apply?

All we need in order to approve your application is:

1) Your basic information (name, address, phone and ID*)
2) Employment information
3) Three personal references (two family members required)
4) You must be 18 years of age or older

*We accept any form of valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.). We also accept consulate-issued matricula cards.

Do I need to have credit history in order to get approved?

No, we do not need your credit history in order to approve your application.

Do you need my social security number?

No, providing your social security number is entirely optional.

Will I be asked for a down payment?

No, we don’t require a down payment. You simply pay
a one-time $15 processing fee*, your first weekly or monthly payment and any applicable sales taxes.

*This fee is to process your paperwork and covers the cost associated with setting up your account. It will only be charged after you are approved.

What is the interest rate?

There is no interest rate with a Lease-to-Own Agreement because we do not require any long-term obligation with debt. You pay for the time up front; after the time expires, you have the option to renew for more time or return the merchandise.

How much will I have to pay for delivery and installation?

You do not have to pay anything. We deliver and install your product absolutely FREE of charge.

When do I get my product delivered?

The delivery of your product is arranged between you and the store and it depends on the product. In most cases, stores can deliver* the product to you within 48 hours and when available the same day or, depending on the product, let you take it directly from the store.

*In order to fulfill the delivery, a person with a minimum of 18 years of age must be present during the delivery

How will I own the product?

There are three ways to obtain ownership:

1) Pay the cash price within the “same-as-cash” period. The “same-as-cash” period varies by product. Fees and taxes do not apply towards the “same-as-cash” price.

2) Pay 90% of your remaining Lease-To-Own Agreement balance at any time after the “same-as-cash” period has ended.

3) Pay the minimum weekly/monthly amount on-time for the full term of your Lease-To-Own Agreement.

Where do I make my payments?

You can make payments at your local store location. We accept cash, debit or credit cards. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

What if I am unable to make my payments?

The first step is to contact your local store representative. Flexi Compras offers you the "Flexi Freeze" option on any payment plan.

Basically, if something happens in the future and you cannot make a payment, with Flexi Compras you get to say " time-out ". Flexi Compras will pick up your product (free of charge) and allow you to come back at any time and "Un-Freeze" your agreement. You will get the same product back or a product in similar condition to the one that was returned and start the account where you left off.

Flexi Compras gives you the flexibility you need with the comfort of knowing you have options regardless of what the future may bring.

What if my product needs service?

We take care of all product warranty and repair costs, including pickup and re-delivery. In addition, we will deliver you another unit while yours is being repaired. You must call the store to notify them of any service issues.

What happens if my product gets stolen or damaged beyond repair?

Flexi Compras offers an optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), which covers the customer’s agreement obligations in the event the merchandise is stolen or damaged. The account must be current on payments with the Loss Damage Waiver active. If the product gets stolen or damaged beyond repair, the customers with LDW must show a police report or fire report. Customers who declined the LDW option are obligated to pay the difference between the Fair Market Value (cash price) and the total rental payments made up to the point of product loss.

What happens to the product warranty once I obtain ownership?

Any remaining manufacturer’s warranty transfers over to you upon ownership. We offer an extended warranty through our Flexi Plus Club program.
